How to play N-Back Flash
- Shapes (or lit squares) flash one at a time. Tap MATCH (or press Space) when the current one is the same as the one N steps back.
- Start with 1-back, then 2-back and 3-back. Later levels use grid positions, then shape and position at once with two buttons (Space / L).
- A wrong MATCH or a missed match costs a heart. Accuracy decides your score and stars; hit streaks build a combo.
- The history strip helps early and fades as you improve. Peek shows it again and Slow calms the stream. Upgrades add hearts and slow every level.

Every run counts toward missions that pay out XP. Clear a tier to unlock the next one:
- Reach level 4
- Catch 30 matches in total
- Finish a level with 100%
- Reach level 8
- Clear a 2-back level
- Catch 10 matches in a row
