Merge Number Up is a free online merge puzzle and number tile puzzle you can play instantly in your browser—no download and no account. Each UTC day shares the same daily puzzle seed so everyone faces the same tile sequence while chasing a personal high score.
Look at the Next 2 tray for the upcoming tiles (only two are shown). Tap any empty square on the 4×4 board to place the first upcoming tile. The tray slides forward after each place.
Merges need at least 3 adjacent tiles with the same value (up, down, left, or right—not diagonal). Different numbers never merge together. If more than 3 matching tiles are connected, all of them merge into one higher tile on the last tile’s cell (the one you just placed). Example: three 2s become a 4; six 2s can become an 8. Cascades continue from that same spot.
Tips for a higher score
- Plan around the Next 2 preview before you place—avoid blocking your own merges.
- Use Undo after a risky placement; save Clear low tile for a nearly full board.
- Chase cascades: larger connected groups of the same number score more in fewer moves.
- When the board is full, tap Play again or New run to retry today’s seed.
